KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA – 8 December 2010 – MNC Wireless Berhad (“MNC”), a mobile and internet media company is pleased to announce that it ranked among the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific 2010, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in Asia Pacific.
Results of the 2010 rankings were officially announced on 2 December 2010 at an awards ceremony at the InterContinental Hotel in Hong Kong. Rankings are based on percentage revenue growth over three years.
MNC’s revenue has grown from RM8.9 million in FYE07 to RM16.8 million in FYE09, representing a compounded annual growth rate of approximately 24%. MNC’s CEO, Mr Chung Jaan Hao, credits higher sales from its existing mobile messaging as well as the new digital services business for the company’s revenue growth over the past three years.
“Winning the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 is certainly a significant achievement for us as this is a testament of our commitment to technology. We will take this honor as a great motivation for us to continue our effort to grow the Company and reach greater heights in the coming future,” commented Mr Chung.

Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific selection and qualifications
The Technology Fast 500 list is compiled from the Deloitte Asia Pacific Technology Fast 50 programs, nominations submitted directly to the Technology Fast 500, and public company database research. To qualify for the Technology Fast 500, entrants must have had base-year operating revenues of at least US$ 50,000.
Entrants must also be public or private companies headquartered in Asia Pacific and must be a “technology company,” defined as a company that develops or owns proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues; or manufactures a technology-related product; or devotes a high percentage of effort to the research and development of technology. Using other companies' technology in a unique way does not qualify.
